The Massachusetts Gerontology Association announces its 9th annual poster session to be held at the annual meeting on May 5th at the Heller School, Brandeis University. The poster session provides students with an opportunity to present their scholarship and to receive professional recognition. Cash prizes are awarded to the best poster presentations with the winner announced at the meeting. All students who present a poster at the meeting receive a complimentary one-year MGA membership.

Poster submission requirements:

  • Applicants must be current graduate or undergraduate students or have graduated after December 1, 2010.
  • Lead authors must be active students or recent graduates; Non-students may be listed as secondary authors.
  • Applicants need not be MGA members.
  • Posters may involve research, policy analyses, or descriptions of best practices in the aging field.
  • Applicants must submit a 200-word abstract describing their project. Abstracts must include the names of authors, institutional affiliations and e-mail addresses.
  • Lead authors of accepted posters are expected to attend the annual meeting to present their posters.
