INNOVATION IN AGING SERVICES
At the Massachusetts Gerontology Association’s Annual Fall Policy Forum
The Massachusetts Gerontology Association (MGA) invites providers of aging services to display information about innovative services or policies at its annual fall Policy Forum on Friday, October 15. The forum will be held at Lasell College in Newton. The forum will begin at 9 AM and end at noon.
Organizations interested in showcasing their innovative program or policy should send a one-paragraph proposal by e-mail to MGA’s Innovation committee (frank.caro@umb.edu). The deadline for proposals is Wednesday, September 8. Exhibitors will be selected on a competitive basis.
Organizational members of MGA whose proposals are selected will be able to display their innovation without charge. Nonmembers will be asked to pay a $50 display fee to help offset conference expenses.
The title of the forum will be: Health Care Reform and Medicare: What’s An Elder to Do? Dr. Stuart Altman of Brandeis University will be the principal speaker.
